Went for a settling in session at nursery this afternoon and while sitting in reception, I noticed that parents are buzzed into the building and then left to wander through nursery without staff to collect their child. Is this the norm? Seems a bit lax in security to me?

What do you say when you msg a teacher saying child won’t be at school on a certain day and she responds. “She will be missed” ? How to respond

Is it possible to apply in advance for space in nursery. Every nursery I have seen only accepts 2+ children for the free funded hours. Do I have to wait until September to apply? How do the terms work? Can she join in the middle? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just can’t get my head around it.

As SAHM to on infant what do y’all do all day other than tending to your baby? I feel like even just spending time with baby has become routine and whenever I’m not I’m just aimlessly scrolling cause I really have zero clue what to do with my downtime after getting all the house care and childcare out the way.
