I've found childminders are a lot more flexible with hours the nursery we used were super inflexible with hours and really strict but childminder was understanding if stuck behind at work or in traffic etc because she was a mum herself
Hemsley House is where my daughter goes until September, we’ve never had a bad experience and they’re open 7:30-6:30
Our daughter is at Townsend Montessori, they offer 8-6 as a standard day, but you can do 7.30 - 6.30

What area of Maidstone? I know people who have used Pennies and Brishing Barn and both have positives. I personally use a childminder so no nursery experience but my friends have used both.
