Is it normal…

…for my 11 day old baby to still need feeding (ebf) every hour day and night? He has so many wet nappies and is gaining weight like crazy so I know he’s getting enough milk overall but I think he’s a grazer which then means he eats more often. I need to know I’m not the only one having to feed every hour!!! 😫

My baby is 10 days old, feed him every 2.5 hours or so day and night - wakes up 3 hourly average during the night. He is formula fed tho xx

Every baby is different and yours may need that every hour feed right now. They go through spouts of cluster feeds also so yes I can be normal

Yupp sounds normal for that age multiple of my kids did that till 3-4 weeks old then slowed down

Yes it’s normal, my boy was still feeding every 1.5 hrs at 4/5 months but luckily now he’s 9 months and will go 4 hours

Sounds normal to me, mine was similar.

Sounds normal, got 16 day old and it’s cluster feeding. Mine only does it 4 hours out of the day where he’s feeds a lot

My baby is 11 days and doing the same. Our nurse said they go through a growth spurt in week one between 7-10 days & again around day 14. So they will be cluster feeding aka feeding like every hour lol. It’s them telling your body to build up more supply bc they are growing. The other day my baby cluster fed for like 5-6 hours during the day

It’s so hard! And if my baby is feeding like this at 4/5 months then count me out!! I’d so be on formula by that point so kudos to you Sophie for sticking to it. My first baby was combi fed and was sleeping 12 hours a night by 4 months old
