Looking for a bit of reassurance if anyone else had experienced anything similar 😕 I am 14.5 weeks now so into my second trimester. Everything is going well and I haven’t had any irregular discharge so far. However yesterday I noticed a bit of brown blood (only a small amount) when wiping after I had an orgasm (no penetration).. I am now a bit paranoid to have sex with hubby tbh! 🥲
I read online that it can be normal due to cervix contracting and releasing some old blood as a result of an orgasm. Has anything similar happened to anyone else and does it go away? TIA xx

@Shannon ah thank you for sharing! It weirded me out that we didn’t actually have sex and there was no penetration (tmi: just oral) 🙈 But it’s is all looking ok at the moment, I just hope it stops otherwise as you say it will put me off 😭

I did with my first! Had a bit of cramping and brown spotting after sex. Sex is considered totally safe, unless told otherwise by a health professional. It happened a couple of times for me but went away the farther along I got. It has made me a bit paranoid the second time around and I just won’t let hubby deep enough to hit my cervix and will climax separately or not at all (I rarely need a climax but still enjoy doing the deed😂). As long as you aren’t filling a sanitary pad with red or pink blood you should be fine. But you can always call triage. Mine won’t see you till 16 weeks but will still advise over the phone.
