Transition from carry cot

We have the icandy peach 7 which states thst the seat isn’t to be used before 6 months.. my little boy is very big (3.5 months and 14.5lbs). He has very good head control and looks so much more comfortable in the seat. What has everyone else done? He’s just so alert and interested in what’s going on..

I also have the icandy and switched my 3.5 month old last week he started to become hysterical every time I popped him in the bassinet as he just wanted to be looking around ☺️

@Beth thanks hun, that makes me feel better!

we have the oyster 3, my little boy has been in the seat part for a month or so now. he's defo a lot happier being able to see what's going on! he's also a big boy, he was 18lbs at his last weigh in a few weeks ago xx

We have the icandy also and we switched out little boy over last week and he was 16 weeks. He’s a lot happier as he loves just looking about him x

I also moved my baby girl over last week at 3.5 months, she’s so much happier looking round!

My lg cries every time in the pram she keeps doing sit ups then gets upset.. your baby seems supported in the pram.. I think I may try mine now I've seen this post so thanks and lovely photo x

I moved my lb i to his seat just over 3months! We know our babies best🥰🥰

My LG is now 4 months, at her last weight check at our drop in clinic a few weeks ago she was 14lb 3oz and she’s now 65cm (length of the average 6 month old!) she’s always been a little bigger in weight and length, and has always been very alert and wanting to look at everything. So at about 11 weeks I asked a health visitor at the drop in clinic if maybe it would be good to transition her to the stroller seat from her carry cot. She saw how much my daughter loved looking around d so said yes as she’s long and very alert. She advised to keep the seat at a recline as she’s not able to sit up in her own yet. Trust your instincts! You know your baby better than anyone. If you’re still unsure though talk to your health visitor. Sorry for the long reply 😅 x

Swapped to mine yesterday (17 weeks). Just felt right time

My little girl is 3months and 2 weeks and I just changed her seat this week because when she is lying down on her back she always try’s to lift up her head and look around. She’s enjoying it a lot more being sat up and looking around (she is very nosey🤣🤣). She also has very good head control like your little one!!

14 weeks old, same pram and made the switch today! My little one is so happy now when we go out!!

@Caroline my LGs legs don’t go over the leg rest and she seems perfectly fine, and I still have her in the slight recline position. No issues or problems. From your pic he looks like he has room for his legs to stretch atm.
