Sleep suits that aren't restrictive?

Suggestions for sleep sacks or something else that are not restrictive at all to keep bub warm halfway through the night? Throughout summer my LO (13m) has just been sleeping in light clothes with no sleep sack. Now it's getting colder he's in PJs but will wake in the early hours from the cold. When this used to happen, I would put him in a sleep sack halfway through the night (as it's too warm to do so at the start of the night) but he's gotten so used to sleeping with nothing on, that he will wake screaming because he tries to roll over etc and is restricted. Any suggestions? It's too warm at the start of the night to add a singlet or any extra clothing as he will keep waking up from the heat.

These are brilliant. Expensive, but brilliant.

Bonds has some really good ones in Target 🙌🏽

https://swaddelini.com These are phenomenal, they are nice and warm, tight on the chest but loose bag type at the legs and Bub can still bring their arms up

What about ergobaby sleep onesies? These are what I bought my daughter and they are nice and warm https://www.ergopouch.com.au/sleep-onesie-2-5-tog-dragonflies

I get mine from tommee tippee website. My 14m old doesn't use a sleep sack during the warmer months only during winter. He is still able to get up and move around freely in his crib when he wakes.

@Ari we've got a bonds one, he loved it last winter but won't tolerate it now

@Elissa we have the sleep sacks and loved them, will definitely look at trying those instead 😊

We have the ergopouch sleep suit (can be either a sack or a suit but we use it as a suit because same, our daughter likes to move). I also put it on her when she is asleep and so far we haven't had any issue, it's pretty easy to do. I lay the sleep suit on the bed, put her on top, slip her legs in then arms and zip up.

We use love to dream, best and less have some really good ones we use as well. Have also bought a few from baby bunting, aldi and tk maxx.

Ergopouch have actual sleep onesies I haven't tried them myself Not sure how easy to dress in the middle of the night they are though

Serious question - I'm just curious to know how your LO is restricted in a sleep sack? I only ask because my LO can roll over in his no problem. He can also stand up and walk in it and even tries to climb on the lounge with it on.

@Kelly honestly I have no idea, you'd have to ask him 😂 but apparently it's the worst thing ever created and is worth waking up screaming within an hour of being put in one 🤦‍♀️ he kicks off the blankets whenever he's in my bed, so I think he just hates the feeling of anything draped on his legs? I'm not sure

Slumbersacs are amazing

We have our one in the Ergopouch onsie and then the Ergopouch sleeping bag. Depending on the temperature, we alternate between the 0.2 onsie and 3.5 sleeping bag / 1.0 onesie and 2.5 sleeping bag. She loves them! She also sleeps with us x
