Will I ever had a lie in again??

Hello so my almost 5 month old has slept through the night since 8 weeks. It’s been a god send she’s amazing. The only thing is she’s started waking up at 5am everyday and I can’t get her to sleep in longer. Any advice?

Breastfeeding

I just wondered if anyone is still breastfeeding and how many feeds a day they are doing? I’m exclusively feeding my little girl except for occasionally she has one bottle of breastmilk a day when I’m at work and haven’t been able to get home for a feed. My stash for this is nearly gone though so I’m trying to work ...

Has anyone had this?

My 1 year old son has had sickness and diarrhoea months ago and we were confused to what was causing it. Every time he had cows milk or spaghetti bolognaise he was sick. So we took his off cows milk and pasta. Last month we tried him with bolognaise and pasta and he’s been absolutely fine with it. But last night he ...

Breastfeeding heartbreak

Anyone else feel heartbreak when they stopped breastfeeding? I had a hard time starting breastfeeding but slowly fell in love with it. My little one would just stare into my eyes whilst he fed and it was the most beautiful experience of my life. I’m back at work and have been slowly tapering down bf. Although I know...

New mum to be dilemma!

I am 23 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Although it is an unplanned pregnancy I knew I wanted to go ahead with it as soon as I found out. I like kids generally and I've developed an urge to be a mom only in the last 2 years maybe but nothing too intense. Today I was spending some time with my nephew and i found m...

Struggling

Hi all not looking for advice just looking for people who are in same boat. My LO sometimes has nights where she will not sleep at all. Doesn’t have to be crying but she will make noises and be wide awake and kick and throw arms about. I know I should be thankful that she isn’t screaming all the time but I’m still g...

Breast Pumps

Hi I'm first time mum, currently 28 weeks pregnant. I'm hoping to breast feed and pump (I understand this is hard but want to give it a try). I am currently a 36H and will no doubt grow when baby gets closer to arriving. Can anyone recommend a good hands free pump for the bigger breasted ladies?

Breast feeding

Please tell me someone else's baby also woke up deciding he can't latch one morning...? I'm hoping he was just over tired but I tried for hours and he just wouldn't latch today. He's been doing well with breast and then the odd expressed bottle but last night my partner did the expressed bottle feed while I went to ...

Uncomfortable pains

Every night after our 3am bottle baby just doesn’t sleep soundly. She’s constantly grunting, bringing legs up and sounds uncomfortable. She burps well after her feeds aswell, often get her up to double check she hasn’t got wind. It’s so exhausting as I just get no sleep. Does anyone else have this?

Sleep duration during the night

My baby is 5 weeks old and sleeps quite well during the night. I have to wake her up at 5 and half hour mark (since last feed) to feed but I wonder how much longer she would go if I didn’t wake her up. She is gaining weight well. Wondering how long are others at similar ages letting their babies sleep in the night (...

I am tired and stressed ☹️

I have a 5 day old, who was not a problem at all at first. But now I’m struggling to get him to sleep in his cot. He will inconsolably cry until he’s on my chest but every time I put him back down he starts to cry. I don’t want to fall asleep whilst he’s on my chest because of the risks but I’m just so tired and it ...

MIL rant

I am a week postpartum and I am slowly losing it with my MIL. So I had a rule that I will let people know once I am ready for guests however my baby was in the NICU when he was first born for 4 days and I had my own mum come over to help us with some more clothes and necessities. I then felt bad so I said MIL can co...

Colustrom collecting question

Hi ladies, my baby girl is coming in 2 weeks at 36 weeks gestation. She is a very tiny estimated weight at birth of 4lbs/5lbs and will most likely be in NICU. I know you’re not meant to collect colostrum until week 37 but could I start at week 36, possibly a few days before she’s due? I’m having a c section and I wa...
