Hi, I’m wondering if anyone knows a little bit more in regards about purchasing formula with the best start food card. Does it include all baby formula or just the “standard 3 brands” (aptemil,c&g, sma) We are currently using HIPP so it would be handy if that one was covered as well. Tia x
Anyone else find the newborn stage an absolute killer. I see so many posts etc about missing it and how people loved it, but I found it sooo hard!
Stuck at home today with a very sick 8 year old and my 4 old so ordered a food shop and they’ve delivered follow on milk instead of hungry baby first milk. I’m considering investing in a portable bottle warmer. (Please save the comments stating I don’t need one, I want one because my LO has only known warm milk and don’t want to give her straight from the fridge) Any suggestions as to brand or type?
We have been combo feeding with breast milk and enfamil nueropro. Was wanting to switch to an organic formula, which ones would be the best? We were leaning towards kendamil just wanted some opinions.
My baby has a total of around 1000ml a day still, but also has his lunch and dinner. He’s not overweight at all. Should I still reduce his milk intake nevertheless? He still wakes up 2x per night for milk 400 total) and drinks the other 600 ml throughout the day.
My LO has been taking a lot of milk the last two weeks (approx 35oz) then today has decided to not really take any (11oz so far today). Don’t know if any other LOs have been through this? Don’t know if she is perhaps at the end of a growth spurt but very strange!
Hello, we've recently introduced occasional formula bottles to my previously EBF baby and I think he might be a little lactose intolerant because whenever we give him a bottle, he gets very gassy and uncomfortable. The thing is the first ingredient for lactose free formula is glucose syrup, so sugar??!! And then oil...
My little boy has been on Puramino since he was 4 weeks old and he’s now 6 months old. There’s a shortage at the moment so we’ve had to switch to SMA Alfamino which I’ve been trying to give him this week but he doesn’t like it at all. He cries and hits the bottle away. It’s a lot thicker than Puramino and it smells....
My baby boy takes 6 ounces & that’s three scoops of formula. Right now, I don’t have enough formula. I only have enough for two scoops. We have been on neocate for 5 weeks and started using carobel with this 3 weeks ago, which made a big difference. After trial and error we got the correct teat and carobel amount (tt size 2 and just under 1 scoop per 120ml), however I have noticed this last week lo is drinking less again and realised that the teats ...
I have some baby bottles that aren't allowed to be sterilized or boiled? Can I just wash the bottles with Dawn dish soap and hot water? Is that okay and to feed my son with the bottles without sterilizing or boiling but hot water and soap
My daughter turns one at the end of the month and I've noticed people are talking about giving cows milk in sippy cups instead of bottles to get them off the bottle. Is this a thing that's recommended to do?? I don't want to pressure myself or my child so quickly as going onto cows milk will be one thing but then g...
We’re 8 days in and we had some latching issues due to me using nipple shields for a few days, so I don’t want this to happen again but would like to be able to express and give one bottle a day eventually… when did everyone else do this and can it cause issues just with one bottle a day?
I know I know my immediate answer is no way but I’m wondering if anyone has anymore insight. My child’s formula is expiring on the 21st and it’s my last 2 cans until the new month and I have no funds to buy more formula. My little one is 5 months. has anyone used expired formula or thinks it’s okay to still use ? I ...
