Do ppl feed first then bottle or bottle first when introducing foods at 6 months? Can anyone give me an idea of a schedule? I feel so lost trying to get my head round certain things.. I don't have anyone I can really ask for advice apart from my mum but i just feel criticised, judged and compared to what other people are doing😔 Tia x

I gave a bottle first, as milk is meant to be their main source of nutrition at that age. I’d then offer food 30 mins-an hour later. We started with lunch and then gradually introduced more meals. The solid starts app is good for telling you how to appropriately cut food at different ages. Don’t sweat it, you’ll find your groove. Just let them explore the foods and textures!

Thank you, I've been giving him a bottle about 6/7, then his after his next one he has porridge or baby rice about 30 mins to an hour after.. wanting to introduce foods this week as he is 6 months on sat and he is always watching me and his dad eat and opening his mouth when he smells stuff so think he's ready.. It says to introduce one new food a day, so was thinking to try him with some veg first.. do I give him his bottle then porridge/rice as normal then around dinner, a portion of veg and then a bottle after and then rest of his bottles for the day? Or should he have 3 meals? I've downloaded the solid starts app so will be using that as a guide for different foods etc x
