Personally. A tubal, but I know it’s not for everyone especially if you want more kids. But if you don’t. I got it done in February and I’m feeling great. Periods are normal and don’t hurt and I feel just normal unlike when I was on any other birth control 😌

I had the mirena IUD for 5 years before we decided to start trying for a baby. It got me through alllll of my single party years with 0 issues. Cons would definitely be that getting it placed hurts. A lot. I had to call out of work the next day 😬 I didn’t get a period the entire time, which was a plus for me but I know other people feel differently. My period came back right away, and within 6 months of taking it out I was pregnant. So if you DO want more kids down the line, that was my experience with getting pregnant after taking it out

I had the implant nexaplon for 8 years. I found that the third one (replaced every 3 years) was the worst for me. Messed me up hormonally and with my periods. I would avoid as you can end up bleeding for about 6 months non stop. Which depending on how your other half feels about period sex works as birth control as its self 🤣 but also defeats the purpose of having birth control. I then tried the combined pill, which drs dont tell you needs to be taken at the same time everyday. If not you're protection goes down. I took everyday but at different times and ended up pregnant. So condoms and the combined pill work well together. But birth control now seems shit to me personally and I'm not 100% sure I want any after birth, but I also dont want to be pregnant again
