Have they been more fussy or drooling excessively? Those are other signs to look for in teething vs exploring
Mine too!!! I’ve been giving him teething toys when I can but he loves his hands. He’s drooling excessively and the night are rough. A bunch of my mom friends said nights and laying them down are signs of teething

@Christine he’s been drooling like crazy for over a month now before all this and he’s going through a 4 month old sleepy regression so he’s definitely fussy but I don’t think there correlated he’s don’t act like his gums hurt at all he doesn’t understand teething toys yet he only knows how to suck so he tries to suck everything instead lol

I just got this today in the mail for my son and i put jt on the hand hes allways sucking on. He likes it.
@Jasmine F we have a few and one jsut like this that’s an elephant he just hasn’t figured em out yet he wants to suck on em like a paci

How old
My babe started at 3 months and it seems to start off as just exploring and go into teething for most people she’s about to be 5 months on the 17th and still chews on her hands lmao just this week I’ve seen actual signs of teeth and feel them trying to come surface level but I’ve read that teething symptoms can start over a month before teeth actually start trying to appear
Omg the gagging yes my daughter has been doing the same thing multiple times a day she hasn’t puked from it but gags so hard then looks at me like I did it to her I’m like girlllll you’re doing it to yourself 🤣😅

My girl is doing this as well, I started giving her toys and crinkle paper books instead
