College degree online

I am wanting to go to school and get my degree online. I am stuck on if medical billing and coding is the right choice. I was leaning more towards this one because I’ve done tons of research as it’s something I’m interested in and I can work from home. Only thing is I’ve heard it’s near impossible to find a job once getting the degree. Anyone get a job in medical billing and coding and got a job preferably work from home? If so how??

As a higher ed administrator and former financial aid director, whatever you do, I’d recommend you stay away from for-profit/proprietary/trade schools. Stick with community college/public/state schools if you’re looking at affordability and credibility. With regard to gainful employment, if I were you, I would take a look at what certificates and degrees my local community college offers. If you receive state assistance, WIOA and SNAP programs exist that will cover majority of your costs. If you want to discuss more or need help, feel free to ask!

I just graduated with mine. If you have questions shoot me a message. My program helps with finding jobs and stuff with a career coach.

My mom has a certificate in medical billing and coding and has been working from home doing that for couple years

@Shani @Jace @Angel I messaged y’all!

@Shani my local community college is free now for state residents who are over 25!!

@Tina - Hope, Grace, JJ mom I love Mass for that!! I’m a CT native 💙
