Potty training!
So my son(13 months) I think is showing signs of wanting to potty on the toilet. Maybe I'm wrong but this is what I have noticed:
Every time I take his diaper off in the bathroom to do bath time he pees in front of the toilet. And will even try to flush after.
Today he kept shutting the door of the bathroom after he walked in.he was poopy when we finally got him to come out of the bathroom.
Am I reaching by trying to see signs that might not be there or are my instincts correct? The training books all made me feel like I was seeing things..

Your not imagining things mine did the same thing however they aren't ready until closer to two. I tried to potty train mine and he did well but he couldn't understand at that age what it feels like before he had to pee or poop and it ended up being frustrating because he was trying to do something he wasn't ready mentally to do. Every child is different and definitely try it out but make sure you let him know it's okay not to get it

I believe you aren't imagining things! Congrats, Mama! Your little one is showing signs! My little one is going through the same thing, he takes his diaper off now (so he's always wearing shorts now because of this) he goes off somewhere in the corner(we usually keep the bathroom door closed) and poos, he's usually dry when he wakes from a nap but goes pee when he starts waking up more after like 5 minutes or so. He's really interested in the washroom alot while we are in there. I usually don't go by the books... I follow his lead we have bought him a toilet that looks like one because the ones with the Lil faces on it and stuff look like they are toys sooooo we don't want him thinking they are toys and play with iy
