Giving water to baby

Our baby is obsessed with water, I have no idea why. We got him the tommee tippee one with a straw, maybe try that one?

I’ve been giving it to him in a tablespoon lol. It’s not ideal but he thinks it’s funny so he has it

My baby loves drinking from an open cup (always trying to grab any glass or mug I'm drinking from too!). I bought the ezpz one for her.

I've tried an open cup, a tommee tippee, and a nuby one, he drinks from all of them but particularly likes the nuby one. He's also discovered my sistema water bottle which of course he has to have whenever I have some 😂

We use a tum tum. I have to snatch it back as my baby is obsessed with drinking from it 🤦🏽‍♀️

We just have an open cup with two handles. I help her hold it. She is now very good and takes a few sips in one go, like without taking a breather. Maybe try showing how to drink from a see through glass so he can see it clearly. They love to copy adults

@Yasmin The same 🤣 he loves his tum tum cup, if he could, he would drink water instead of milk 🤣

We use an open cup, I did her usual milk in it first (freshly expressed breast milk) and then switched to water and she's okay at drinking. Much prefers drinking out of whatever I am drinking out of! If she isn't drinking I will get a fruit pouch (she loves the Ella's kitchen green one) it's hydrating and gives some fruit to help with pooing aswell. Also cups with a straw, there are tips on Instagram on how to get baby to drink through a strawed cup, she took to it very quickly!

It's taken me a month but he's finally drinking a tiny bit. I'd suggest keep trying and avoid a straw cup with a valve, they're just too hard for them

Just keep trying your little one with water my girl was the same but now she drinks it I never gave up 😂 x
