Sleeping in the warmer weather

Hi ladies I really need some advice. As the weather is getting warmer I am a bit stuck on the best way to dress my LG for bedtime. I have googled it but honestly trust other mumma’s advice way more. Our room is getting to 20-21 degrees at night and I am worried I am dressing her wrong for that temp. I have 2.5, 1.5 and 1 tog sleep sacks so which one should I use with what underneath? What are all of you using? Thank you!!

Honestly I think it depends on your baby. I felt in my gut my LO runs hot like me from birth, he even cried when he had too many layers on in the hospital. I followed the 'guidelines' and ended up with a sweaty grumpy baby. My LO is currently asleep in a vest and a sleep suit in a room that's is about 20 degrees. When it was cold he was in a 1 tog. Even when it was freezing he wouldn't sleep in a 2 tog, he just cried and got sweaty.

My baby is the opposite to Tasha's above. She loves being cosy. Currently in a room sitting at 22 -23 degrees she's in a vest, sleepsuit and a 1 tog sleep sack. Each baby is different I suppose, just like us. I like my warmth goo :)

@Tasha okay perfect thank u! i feel like she’s the same i run hot too. she was always warmer then i would expect when in the winter months, i’ve dressed her in a long sleeve vest and a 1.5 tog sleep sack so i hope that’s all good!

Whereas I am currently a sweaty mess with a fan on 😂😂

Our house gets quite warm too currently says 22 degrees and I’ve just put her in a long sleeve vest and 1 tog sleeping bag

My little one runs hot and our bedroom is warmer than yours. I’m currently using a little sleepies zippie and a 1 tog sleep sack. Seems content and doesn’t wake up sweaty ☺️

@Tasha im literally sat rn with the window wide open in a sports bra and pj bottoms while my partner has a hoodie and blanket on 🤣

@Hannah okay amazing thank u that’s what i’ve done x

@Shannon i see, thank u! that’s good to know x
