Am I in the wrong

Me , my husband and 3 month old are in egypt. Waiter at all inclusive was very rude to me when he got my drink order wrong . He brought white wine instead of the red I ordered. I kindly asked him to change it and he proceeded to shout in my face that I ordered red wine which I didn’t . I corrected him and walked out the restaurant with my baby . My husband stayed and finished his meal…, I didn’t expect my husband to say anything to the waiter but I expected him to walk out too. Instead of tucking into his duck dinner Am I in the wrong

Hmm I’m not sure, i feel like he’s gotta eat. But I also feel like he should have stepped in after you were shouted at and the waiter was pulled up and management be involved. It shouldn’t have been a case of you the customer leaving short of finishing with your mealtime experience.

I don't really feel like I have enough information to make a judgment call. Was there any lead-up to the waiter yelling at you? Had you had previous encounters with this waiter specifically or the wait staff in general during your stay? Had there been other errors on your order that day or on others previously and he was responding to a pattern of behavior from you? Or was he just yelling at you out of nowhere on like your first night there?

Did you say anything to your husband when you left? Or did you just up and leave? How often does this kind of thing happen with you?

No you’re not wrong and your husband should have said something. If that had happened to me and my partner was there he would have stood up and insisted we left together, after cussing the waiter. Your husband sounds like my ex a beta male, I mean what explanation did he give for staying there to eat?

Normal thing to do is eat your dinner then complain to the manager no? No point going hungry

wtf
