Reaction to aveeno? Both mum & baby!

Has anybody else had a reaction to Aveeno? I was recommended it by our doctor for my girls eczema. But after just two days of use, her eczema is very red and angry and my hands are also itching. I do have coeliac disease, which means I can’t eat gluten and that includes oats. Obviously, I haven’t been eating this tho 😂 and I have been washing it off my hands as soon as I finished applying it

Yes!!!!! My daughter has dry skin and eczema, it’s not bad enough to need steroid cream though. We were using epaderm and it didn’t work and now been prescribed zerobase which seems to be working! Also not allowed to use soap anymore, we were using aveeno but just stopping everything now.

I was prescribed aveeno a long time ago for eczema and it didn't touch it, if anything made it worse. I've tried it for my baby and it does nothing for him

@Danielle annoyingly I’ve been prescribed the zero stuff but the pump is broken and I can’t get into it 🙄🙄 Im not great at bathing her super regularly (I do cotton wool water wipe downs regularly ofc) so don’t think soap is causing it but can definitely leave her baths clear!

Yep! My poor boy, it just made his Eczema worse and I had been recommended it by a few people. I actually use my moisturiser on him now (I can get bad Eczema ans struggle with skincare products). It's a brand called Sukin and it reminds me of body shop as its all natural ingredients but without the price tag of body shop! It's been the only thing that worked as he was also prescribed something

YES!

E45 the only thing that's worked for me. Aveeno and child's farm made it worse 😞
